1.  Create an account

Given a “get started now button” on Yola.com, learners will be able to create an account successfully.

1.1  Open Web browser

Given a computer that has been turned on, learners will be able to successfully open a web browser.

1.2  Go to www.yola.com

Given an open web browser, learners will be able to successfully enter the Yola.com URL.

1.3  Click “Get Started Now”

Given an open web page, learners will be able to successfully click on the “get started now” button.

1.4  Fill out account creation form

Given an open account creation form, learners will be able to successfully complete it.

1.5  Pick template for first site

Given the template selection page, learners will be able to successfully choose a template for their website.

2.      Add text box, save, and publish work

Given the Yola editing window open, learners will be able to successfully add text boxes, save, and publish their work.

2.1   Click and drag text box onto screen 

Given the widget frame open in the editing window, learners will be able to successfully drag a new text box onto the screen.

2.2   Move text boxes around on the screen

Given a text box on the screen, learners will be able to successfully move the text box to a new location.

2.3  Use the save button

Given a save button on the screen, learners will be able to successfully save their work.

2.4  Use the preview button

Given the preview button on the screen, learners will be able to successfully use the preview feature.

2.5  Use the publish button

Given the publish button on the screen, learners will be able to successfully publish their site.

2.6  Tell Yola where your site will be hosted

Given the publishing box on the screen, learners will be able to successfully fill out information about where their site will be published.

3.  Enter and edit text

Given a text box on the screen, learners will be able to successfully enter and edit text on the screen.

3.1  Click inside text box and type

Given a text box on the screen, learners will be able to successfully select and type in the text box.

3.2  Use the text size feature

Given the text editing menu on the screen, learners will be able to successfully use the text size feature to enlarge and shrink their text.

3.3  Use the text color feature

Given the text editing menu on the screen, learners will be able to successfully use the text color feature to change the color of their text.

3.4  Use bold, italics, and underline

Given the text editing menu on the screen, learners will be able to successfully use the text formatting tools bold, italics, and underline.

5.4   Link to other pages on your site

Given a text box on the screen, learners will be able to successfully type the site name “Extra Credit” and use the link menu to create a hyperlink.
