Problem (Need)

There is a need for a web-based communication format for use in a classroom setting.  Teachers are always looking for a way to inform their students about upcoming tests, homework, and other pertinent information.  A classroom web site has been an effective way for teachers to keep up to date information that is readily accessible by the student body.  However, to do this most teachers were forced to rely on a school run website which may not be accessible or easy to use.

Purpose

The purpose is to solve the problems of the current set up by utilizing the web site builder Yola to create and maintain a classroom website designed to increase communication between teachers and students.

Target Group

Classroom teachers, school technology specialists who are interested in helping their school site staff create websites, department chairs who want to encourage stronger communications between their teachers and students

Delivery System

The delivery system will be web based with video tutorials.
